Who left Moody Blues?
Health troubles led to a diminished role for founder Ray Thomas throughout the 1980s, though his musical contributions rebounded after Moraz departed in 1991. Thomas retired from the band in 2002; he died shortly before the band were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2018.
Are the Moody Blues still together?
Thomas retired from the band in 2002 and died in 2018. Lodge has continued to perform what he calls “the soundtrack of my life,” the music of the Moody Blues, with his 10,000 Light Years Band. Lodge and the band will begin a tour in March 2022.
